Merchant. Strategist. Storyteller.

For Hire.

Hi — I’m Abbey.

I am a senior merchandising and brand leader with 20+ years operating at the intersection of product, culture, and commerce across luxury, contemporary, and digital retail. I build businesses by translating macro trends, consumer behavior, and data into distinctive assortments, compelling brand stories, and high-impact go-to-market strategies.

Across my career at Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, and The Tobe Report, I led large-scale, multi-category businesses through periods of transformation — aligning creative vision with commercial discipline, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and driving measurable results across product, marketing, and retail. I am known as both a strategist and an operator: I set the vision and sit in the room to ensure it gets executed.

I believe that merchandising leads marketing — that how product is curated, priced, and structured ultimately defines how a brand is experienced in the market. My work blends instinct, analytics, and customer truth to create assortments that feel modern, relevant, and profitable. I’ve been proud to partner with brands including Lacoste, Solid & Striped, Juicy Couture, Kenneth Cole, and Mestiza along the way.

Today, I work with growth-stage consumer brands as a fractional global merchandising executive, embedding with leadership teams to sharpen assortments, accelerate go-to-market, and connect product decisions directly to revenue.

I also advise emerging talent through the New York Fashion Tech Lab and the Fashion Scholarship Fund, supporting the next generation at the intersection of fashion, technology, and commerce.

When I’m not working, I’m traveling, cooking, staying active, and cheering on my beloved Philadelphia teams with my two teenagers, Alex and Gigi, here in New York City.
